What I'll fight for

Northfield is at a crossroads on affordable housing, infrastructure, climate sustainability, and our tax base. Drawing on years of service on the Park Board and beyond, I'll bring three commitments to the council.

Accountability

Smart, transparent decisions about public money.

Plan and justify public spending carefully, and explain the trade-offs openly.
Treat the council’s job as partnering with city staff to ensure transparency and responsiveness.
Keep the bigger questions, like a dam, bike lanes, the Archer House, or a water-treatment plant, anchored in the common good.

Affordability

Doing more with less, together.

Prioritize the infrastructure upgrades Northfield actually needs.
Use public–private collaboration with local groups to fund and support new amenities.
Take on the crossroads we face: affordable housing, infrastructure and parks, climate sustainability, and growing the commercial/industrial tax base.

Accessibility

A council that listens and shows up.

Be genuinely accessible to resident input and concerns.
Communicate consistently and transparently about what the council is doing and why.
Be communally creative in nurturing the livability Northfield offers.
